I have recently bought in the U.K. a Kukuri once owned by Dil Bahadur Limbu who served in Hong Kong in the early 1970’s. Is he related to Dil Bahadur Limbu who was murdered there? If so, could you tell me if his father is still alive, and if I can contact him?
His Kukuri holster had paper packing, and when I opened it up, it revealed his identity and some of the camps he was based. – Malacca, Malaysia. Hong-Kong 1965-71 and Crookham Camp, Aldershot, U.K.
Any information would be appreciated.

To check whether they were related or not I would suggest to contact the Record Office at the British Gurkhas Camp in Pokhara, Nepal. Please note that it is important to provide the service number of the ex Gurkha in question otherwise it is almost impossible to find him as Dil Bahadur Limbu is very common name,
hello gurkha if you want HK ID card why don’t you just apply to the HK Immigration? Kahile ubhu lagne ho yo gorkhe standard ko buddhi le? Pahal garnu man chha bhane aphai kina shuru nagareko, Padam le jasto? HK le visa ta band garyo bhane ID card ke kura?
To check if Dil Bahadur Limbu is related or not suggest contact Record Office British Gurkhas Pokhara in Nepal. They should be able to provide the information but require his service number. Dil Bahadur Limbu is a common name so without his service number it is almost impossible to find the man you are looking for.
